BESPOKE EQUINE PORTRAITS
Capture the bond between horse and rider in a piece made just for you. From ringside sketches to detailed watercolor portraits, each commission is created from your own photos or a live moment, whether you're commemorating a ribbon win, your horse’s memory, or a milestone worth framing forever.
Interested in commissioning a piece? Send over your horse's name, a few reference photos, the occasion you'd like to capture, and let's talk details.
FAQs
-
Yes. Most of my portraits are painted from client-supplied photos rather than in-person sittings. I'll let you know if I need a different angle or a higher-resolution image.
-
Yes, both are available, along with rider-and-horse combined portraits.

I welcome these commissions and am happy to work with whatever reference photos you have, these pieces mean a great deal to me as well.

If you're looking to commission a portrait as a memorial, a retirement gift, or a surprise for a trainer, groom, or barn mom, I'd love to help you capture that horse exactly as you remember them. These commissions are handled with extra care and can be timed around a specific date if needed.

Most pieces are completed within 1 month of your quote being confirmed, though I recommend reaching out earlier for holiday or show-season timing.

1. Send your photos. Through the consultation portal or email, message a few clear reference photos of your horse (and rider, if included). A mix of a straight-on shot and a slightly angled action or standing shot works best.
Tell me the story. Let me know the occasion, whether it's a show result, a retirement, a gift, or simply a portrait to remember a special horse, along with any details you'd like included (barn colors, ribbons, a specific show name).
Receive your quote. I'll confirm size, medium, and price before starting.
